The Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, based in Braunschweig, is a member of the Helmholtz Association and conducts cutting-edge research in the field of infectious diseases. Our scientists develop novel methods and strategies to combat infectious diseases ever more quickly and effectively. Our common goal is to find new approaches to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. Our research focuses on bacterial and viral pathogens, their interaction with the human immune system, and new active agents and vaccines.
The People & Culture Department is the central point of contact for all personnel-related matters and questions. Its responsibilities cover all aspects of the employee life cycle, starting with personnel planning and recruitment and extending to payroll and job evaluation. This also includes controlling the personnel cost budget. The payroll unit within the department takes care of the payroll accounting for all employees working at the HZI.
To support the SAP project, we are currently looking for specialists with SAP experience to help us implement payroll accounting in SAP. We particularly welcome applications from people who have in-depth knowledge of SAP and would like to help us successfully implement this project.
Tasks
- Support/collaboration in SAP S/4HANA projects
- Taking on process and module consulting in the context of complex requirements and business cases in the SAP environment
- Support and conceptual development of existing SAP solutions, including related systems and interfaces
- Close collaboration with the specialist department and partial assumption of the IT business partner's tasks in the area of payroll accounting
- Entering personnel data into the payroll accounting system (LOGA/SAP)
- Checking the end data and transferring the data to financial accounting (in LOGA and later SAP)
- Preparing monthly and/or annual statistics and evaluations (LOGA/SAP)
- Extrapolation and calculations for individual personnel cost queries
Prerequisites
- Completed commercial training or equivalent skills and experience
- Knowledge of collective bargaining, social security and wage tax law
- Knowledge of relevant legal regulations (AGG, WissZeitVG, BetrVG, SGB, BBesG)
- Experience in project work
- User knowledge of LOGA and SAP
- Organisational talent with an analytical and structured way of working
