The HZI is looking for a head of department for the organisational unit that is currently being set up.

The Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, based in Braunschweig, is a member of the Helmholtz Association and conducts cutting-edge research in the field of infectious diseases. Our scientists develop novel methods and strategies to combat infectious diseases faster and more effectively. Our common goal is to find new approaches to prevention, diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases. Our research focuses on bacterial and viral pathogens, their interaction with the human immune system and new active agents and vaccines.

The organisational unit at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI), which is currently being established, reports directly to the Administrative Management and is responsible for the technical management and coordination of several administrative staff units at the HZI.
