The HZI computing centre is seeking to employ a Cloud Platform / Kubernetes Engineer as soon as possible.

The HZI, Germany's largest non-university infection research centre, is a member of the Helmholtz Association and conducts cutting-edge research in the field of infectious diseases. Our scientists develop novel methods and strategies to combat infectious diseases faster and more effectively. Our common goal is to find new approaches to prevention, diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases. Bacterial and viral pathogens, their interaction with the human immune system and new effective agents and vaccines are the focus of our research.

The Computing Department, headed by Dr Joachim Metge, supports both science and administration with a wide range of services and projects, thus making a fundamental contribution to the success of the HZI's infection research. In a complex IT environment at several locations, 22 employees and six trainees face daily challenges and overcome them with expertise and team spirit in a friendly environment.
