The Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) is a member of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres, the largest scientific organisation in Germany. Scientists at the HZI develop strategies to better combat infectious diseases. Their goal is to develop novel approaches to the prevention, diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases. To this end, they study bacterial and viral pathogens and their interaction with the immune system, and research new active agents.
The VIT department is responsible for the digitalisation initiative of the administration at the HZI.
The HZI is currently in the process of converting from the previous SAP R3 system to the current SAP S/4 HANA system. The advertised position offers the opportunity to gain insights into the implementation of a company-wide project (approx. 90 employees) and to gain experience in working with SAP S/4 HANA.
Tasks
Assistance with various tasks as part of the HZI's SAP S/4 HANA transformation, including, but not limited to:
- supporting the HZI's specialist departments in maintaining master data
- involvement in test management
- assisting with project management
Prerequisites
- Enrolled student at a German university or university of applied sciences
- At least 40 hours per month
- Confident handling of the common Microsoft Office products
- Good command of the German language, both written and spoken
- Reliable, structured way of working
- No fear of routine work
Working hours
At least 10 / maximum 18 hours per week
