On 12 September the Federal Minister for Education and Research, Prof Johanna Wanka, visited the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI). During her stay scientists from the centre presented the main research areas the HZI and its partners work in.
Furthermore, the Federal Minister had the opportunity to visit the S3 laboratory on the campus. After the presentations and the guided tour through the laboratory Prof Dr Wanka and the scientists got together once more to go into more detail about current research questions and the future of infection research.
