The Innovation Management department is looking for an Innovation Officer to manage the patent portfolios.

As a member of the Helmholtz Association, the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research GmbH (HZI), Germany's largest non-university infection research centre, conducts cutting-edge research in the field of infectious diseases. Our scientists develop novel methods and strategies to fight infectious diseases faster and more effectively. Our common goal is to develop novel approaches for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. Bacterial and viral pathogens, their interaction with the human immune system and new effective active substances and vaccines are at the centre of our research.

The Innovation Management (IMM) staff department supports the transfer of technology and knowledge at the HZI. For us, transfer means that science-based expertise is put to practical use outside the scientific community. The IMM team advises and supports researchers at the HZI in the identification and utilisation of research results, from industrial property rights to licensing and spin-offs.
