Dr Berit Lange, Acting Head of the Department of Epidemiology (EPID) at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) and President of the German Society for Epidemiology is looking forward to receiving support for administrative processes for the office of the German Society for Epidemiology.
The German Society for Epidemiology (DGEpi) e.V. is the professional association of epidemiologists in Germany, promotes epidemiology in research, teaching and practice, and commits itself and its members to advocate quality, freedom and truthfulness in science.
The Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research GmbH (HZI) is a member of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres, the largest scientific organisation in Germany. Scientists at the HZI develop strategies to better combat infectious diseases.
Tasks
- Administrative support for the DGEpi office
- Support with reporting tasks
- Support with communication with members
- Membership administration
- Support with the DGEpi website and social media presence
Prerequisites
- Enrolled as a student at a German university or university of applied sciences
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Computer skills, especially in MS Office
- Organisational talent and good communication skills
- Knowledge of office management is an advantage
- Independent, efficient, accurate and well-organised way of working
- Familiarity with/interest in administrative processes
- Able to work under pressure, flexible and a team player
Working hours
36 hours per months, by arrangement
