You will get to know the processes in the IT Helpdesk and IT Workplace area at a renowned research institution and learn the basics of the daily work at the computing centre and the IT Helpdesk.
Tasks
You will support our department in its day-to-day business, in particular in data maintenance and the organisation of the IT helpdesk. In addition, you will support us in the preparation and implementation of smaller projects.
- Support with 1st level IT support requests
- Installation and setup of new IT hardware
- Support with creating and managing new users in the Active Directory
Prerequisites
We are looking for a student assistant who enjoys the above-mentioned tasks and is enthusiastic about the IT world.
- Enrolled student at a German university or university of applied sciences with a focus on computer science, business informatics or other IT-related courses of study
- Interest in the IT helpdesk and ideally already some initial experience with computer installations and Active Directory
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Careful working is one of the basic requirements for this responsible task
- Organisational talent and good communication skills
Working hours
Up to 50 hours per month, by arrangement
